Screen printing is a stencil-based printing technique where ink is pushed through a fine mesh screen onto a surface. Areas blocked by the stencil prevent ink from passing through, allowing the design to be transferred onto the fabric.
The technique is widely used in textile design, fashion, posters, illustration, and contemporary art because it allows artists to produce strong colours, graphic images, and repeated designs.
