Open Studio is a dedicated space for experimentation, practice, and developing your printmaking skills. Reserve a workspace and continue your projects using lino, woodcut, screen printing, etching, and other printmaking techniques.
Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: JCCAC LC303, 3/F, Shek Kip Mei
Available mediums: Screenprint, lino, woodblock, and etching.
Please note that Open Studio isnot a class. Participants are expected to work independently and already have experience with the medium they intend to use. Clean up after yourselves.
Not included in the cost (can bring your own): Paper and plate.
To join Open Studio, you must have previously attended one of our classes in the specific printmaking medium you plan to work with or show your portfolio for previous works. For example, if you have completed a Woodcut class, you may use Open Studio for woodcut-related projects. Participants who are unfamiliar with the medium or studio equipment may be asked to leave the session.
If you require guidance, technical assistance, or instruction, we recommend enrolling in one of our classes or booking a private lesson.
