By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your own handmade print and a deeper appreciation for one of Japan's most celebrated printmaking traditions.

Meet Your Instructor

Ho Sheung Yan Nicolas

Born in Hong Kong and trained in Tokyo,Ho Sheung Yan Nicolas is a printmaker specializing in Mokuhanga and contemporary woodblock printing.

His serene and minimalist works draw inspiration from nature, everyday moments, and life's quiet elegance. Through subtle compositions and delicate color relationships, Nicolas creates prints that invite contemplation and a sense of inner calm.

Having studied and practiced Mokuhanga in Japan, he brings both technical expertise and a deep appreciation for the tradition's artistic philosophy.
