This lesson aims to teach you the understanding of how to design a lino piece of work and teach you how to make lino prints, so that you're able to create work on your own.

In the lesson there will be explanations of:

• correct carving techniques
• how to use shapes and lines to create a captivating image design that suits relief printing
• how to correctly apply ink and explanation of printing tools
• how to print the lino block
• how to properly clean up so you can attend open studio days for doing lino work
  

What you will complete:
Carve 1 piece of A6 lino block and print an edition of 2-3 paper prints by hand depending on time.

1pm - 2pm Carving

2pm - 3pm Carving

3pm - 4pm Printing and Clean up
