Course content: This Screen print course is set over 1 days and aimed at developing participants’ knowledge, skill and confidence in the screen printing process. Participants will develop an image to translate into a 3 to 4 layer screen print. Using a practical approach, participants will learn to prepare, coat and expose a screen, prepare paper, mix color inks and utilize various registration techniques for printing multi-layer prints.
By the end of this course, participants will have a thorough understanding of the screen printing process on a basic level.
During this course, participants will complete an edition of 5 A4 multi-colored screen prints on archival fine art paper to take home.
All materials will be provided by the studio. The studio uses water based ink.

David Jasper Wong is a Hong Kong based painter & printmaker, he received his BA in Fine Art from Pepperdine University in USA and acquired further studied in printmaking from the Hong Kong Visual Art Center in Hong Kong. His works are held in public, institutional and private collections around the world. He has exhibited his works in solo and group exhibitions in Hong Kong (Impact 11), USA, Spain (Impact 10), Singapore.
